A crust
of dried blood,
Dust mixed.
A rusted knife,

the skin.
The liquid
gushes out again
Clot formed
Un-healed
For the knife

The Voice box throttled

Gasp!!!!! choke!!!
The sound
doesnt reach.
The shouts
silenced.
The reasons
chanted.
The chants boom
louder and louder.
It spins
and dances
like the spirits
around the
scarred remains
of a mum doll.

I hate people who dont value my time. I was out today on field work conducting a survey for my Indian literature class. We are going to read a few writers who wrote about working women and the problems they face juggling both work and home. So our lecturer Ameeta ma'm asked us to talk to 5 men whose wife works and 5 working women and get their viewpoints about working women.After collecting info from an attender in my college,a florist, a lecturer, I called one of my friends who works for a media house. I asked him if I could talk to a few of his colleagues if they were ok with it. I met a few people and then my friend said I could also talk to the BIG boss( I am not giving out the designation for I dont want my friend to lose his job) who was there and that he had already talked to him about the survey.THE BIG boss had said he would talk to me after a while since he was busy right then. So the wait started.. I waited for 1 hour and then the boss just went home without even meeting me.Like an idiot I waited for an hour when I might have as well done my research elsewhere. Bloss tried to reason with me that the person was the Big boss and he would not have the time to meet students like us.Whatever be the reason, I refuse to accept that any person should actually keep one waiting and not meet and leave just like that. I would have been happy if the person would have just walked towards me and said he could not have possibly spoken to me that day and maybe I could talk to him later. All I would say is just because I am a student doesnt mean I dont have other "important" things to do.
