Last Weekend I was in the Nizam's Courtyard. Had been to Hyderabad on work. Caught the evening flight to Hyderabad with Pradyot who had come to Bangalore. We landed at Hyderabad airport at about 8 in the night. The city really looked like the Nizams treasury, So many colourful lights, When You land at Bangalore, It doesnt look so crammed with lights, there are dark portions, But Hyderabad is crowded with colorful lights, From the plane, It looks exactly like a trunk, full of jewels.
I guess people in Hyderabad do believe in living life Nizam style. Everywhere I could see huge 3-4 storey Bungalows, each house equipped with their own personal Gym, Lawn, lavish furniture and interiors. Good for people who are into interiors and furniture business I must say.
I was staying at ISB, with Pradyot. A real calm and beautiful campus. I did see a many wild animals around, roaming free and unharmed. I saw a snake, Peacock, did see something like a fox, not sure if it was a fox though. But many students have confirmed the existence of a fox there.
The stay in all was good except for the traffic. Next time anyone complains about traffic in Bangalore, I would ask them to visit Hyderabad. With roads twice the size of roads in Bangalore, I was still stuck in jams everywhere. People have no traffic sense. Everyone, right from Govt buses to private vehicle owners do not follow traffic rules. Wonder how pedestrians manage to cross the road, cos I didnt see any vehicle stopping for signal to go completely green anywhere.
That was Hyderabad/Cyberabad or the Nizams courtyard for me. Back in Namma Bengalooru
