Bliss

Awake at this hour..Tom in my lap sleeping peacefully like a child after half hour of barking to complain that his tumour ( he has a tumour in his ears and is too old to be operated on) is hurting him. Feels nice to hold him like this and rock him to sleep. Who said animals cant be like children? They are exactly like children. attention seeking and innocent!!!

My pretty child sleeps peaceful and content that he is safe. :)

Wonder what you do for anyone in the world? cos your blog is not even accesible. Wonder if you have adopted anyone home? if you have clap clap. I do send money to an orphanage. For that matter wonder who you are to ask and tell me what I should do with my life. Read the profile statement carefully again. maybe you missed something there.

as the inimitable g.c. says "i am sick of how everything has to revolve around children. help the children. save the children. love the children. i say to hell with the children. They get entirely way too much attention."

i dont know why anytime someone does something for animals, some yo-yo comes up and asks "what have you done for the children?". jerks.

it isnt as if animal lovers are going berserk and asking "what you have done for stray pups?", right?

"have u adopted any ooe yet at ur home?" is there a law that says everyone must adopt a child? what nonsense! so go soak your head. and take your cyber presence elsewhere. pronto.

ha...ha..ha... u felt very bad. i am a social worker from mumbi.i am also doing a lot of thing for my country and pepple.the main difference is that i am not advertising lik you.

Its not advertising. Its actually spreading the word. And the world wont run unless you advertise so whats the harm. when one does something its good to spread the word and get more people involved. As simple as that.

@shubha: where the heck is mumbi? and clap, clap you are doing a lot of thing for your country and pepple and lik others, you arent advertising. I'm inspired. To do my bit for my country, I'm willing to give you lessons in English grammar.

And where did Shubhaprada advertise? All she did is write a personal entry about her dog. Stop being an idiot and go serve your people or whatever else you claim to do, you holier-than-thou pretentious social worker.

hey hey...

i know this comment is a tad late...but how is tom doing?

can you please contact yasmine from our blog(catsofbangalore/adoptstrays)re tom's ear tumour. leela, her dog who is no more..had some similar trouble iirc. you could ask her how she managed it.

i think homeopathy can be useful. i have also heard of something called transfer factor plus because these can be triggered by immune system deficiences. there has been miraculous recovery amongst pets who are fed raw meat diet, but then i can see its not always a practical choice.

i was wondering if you could join our blog...we also need a faq/special needs category..so that people will know how to recognise and treat illness in animals. home pets can go to the vets, but when street dogs suffer, the common guy on the street needs to know how to recognise and treat symptoms. it would be great if you can contribute.

i read about transfer factor here> http://www.shirleys-wellness-cafe.com/tf.htm

@ Jellicles: Tom is fine. His tumour is not curable. I have spoken to vets and they say the growth is something they cant stop and since he is already 14 years old and he is a pomeranian, he is too weak to take the operation. We have some medicines which help him a bit. But since he is blind and also has the tumour, he sometimes finds it difficult. He is pretty active otherwise, more so when Nitya is around. :)

Will surely join the blog and contribute, do add me..
